Osman Korahan, 1963 yılında Girne’de doğdu. 1985 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi İktisat Fakültesi Maliye bölümünden mezun oldu.
1987 yılında Sayıştay Başkanlığında Denetçi olarak çalışmaya başladı. Denetçiliği sırasında çeşitli yurt dışı denetim görevlerinde bulundu.
Sayıştay denetçisi olarak çalıştığı yıllarda Sayıştay Denetçiler Derneği Başkanlığını yürüttü. Bunun yanında uzun yıllar Kooperatif Merkez Bankası basketbol takımı antrenörlüğü ve yöneticiliği yapmıştır.
Denetim ekip sorumlusu olarak uluslararası denetim standartları ve performans denetimi konularında eğitimlere katıldı.
Ekim 2009 tarihinde KKTC Meclisi tarafından Sayıştay Üyesi olarak atandı. 22 Kasım 2010 tarihinde ise KKTC Meclisi tarafından Sayıştay Başkanı olarak seçildi.

Osman Korahan
was born in Kyrenia in 1963. He graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of
Economics, Department of Finance in 1985.
He started to
work as an Auditor in the SAI TRNC in 1987. He was assigned to carry out
various audit assignments abroad while he worked as an Auditor.
During the
years he worked as an Auditor, he served as the President of the Auditors'
Association of SAI TRNC. In addition to this, He worked as a Coach and Administrator
for Cooperative Central Bank Basketball Team for a long time.
As the head
of the audit team, he participated various trainings about international
auditing standards and performance auditing topics.
He was elected as a Member (Deputy Chairman) of the Court of Audit of Turkish
Republic of Northern Cyprus by the TRNC Republic Assembly in October 2009. He
was elected as the President of the Court of Audit of Turkish Republic of
Northern Cyprus by the TRNC Republic Assembly on 22 November 2010.
